Quality management that starts with farmers and continues through sourcing, processing and product preparation.
Our approach
Rather than depending only on open local markets, cocoa is sourced through organised farmer groups and cooperatives. This provides closer interaction with farmers and creates greater control over farming practices and post-harvest handling.
Organised through cooperatives and farmer groups.

Farmer training & support
The company supports farmers through training in cocoa farming best practices, crop management, harvesting, post-harvest handling and quality awareness. The purpose is to improve cocoa handling before the beans enter processing or export channels.
The business gives priority to women within its farmer support programmes with the aim of helping African women become more economically self-sustainable.
